Le Parvis is a family-run guest house located directly at the foot of the Notre Dame Cathedral of Chartres, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The building itself dates back to the 12th century, with cellars dating from 1100 and floors from 1300 and 1400. Guests can access the cathedral forecourt through a private back door within 20 meters.

Themed Rooms

Le Parvis offers six individually themed rooms, each with a unique decor referencing local history and culture. The Henry IV room has two windows overlooking the cathedral square, while the Les Louis room includes a separate sitting room. Bathrooms feature balneotherapy showers, and the Pénélope room has a round bed.

Breakfast & Dining

The breakfast room offers a view of the cathedral tower while guests enjoy fresh croissants, homemade plum jam, and freshly squeezed orange juice. Le Parvis's restaurant serves traditional French cuisine from 11:00 to 16:00, including cheese, meats, and fruit. Special diet menus are available upon request.

Cellars & Events

The hotel's medieval cellars, dating from the 12th century, are used for group meetings and jazz events. The cozy lounge bar is located in a historic crypt within the building. An outdoor terrace offers a place to relax in the historic setting, and the hotel also has a chapel and shared lounge area.
